User Research

Developed and executed a 6-month user research project, conducting interviews with 80+ content creators; synthesized data from 117 interviews, producing 9 key insights; ran a 3-day design workshop, generating 250+ product ideas; and directed development of 6 prototypes as part of a product design class at U.C. Berkeley.

State of the Commons

Led research, development, and design for the 2016 State of the Commons report featuring growth and impact of the global commons (1.2 billion works), and managed its translation into a dozen languages.

CC Search 1.0

Led CC Search out of beta with over 300 million images indexed from 19 collections, a major redesign, and faster, more relevant search. Conducted usability testing and implemented analytics and methods to track reuse.
